We often find ourselves struggling to cope when our world gets turned upside down – by the death of a loved one, loss of relationships or stability, or changes in health. Individual counseling may help you not only cope with life stressors but adapt successfully to them. My approach to counseling is rooted in non-judgment and genuine interest in my clients. I view counseling’s central work as learning to approach oneself with curiosity and compassion rather than criticism.
Therapy sessions are rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which is proved effective in treating anxiety, depression, and other client concerns. Clients are empowered by transforming how they relate to their thoughts while harnessing the power of behavior to create change.
